Jon, usually when your blinker blinks at twice the rate it means that one of the lights in your blinkers on that side has gone out. Its a nifty feature built into the car that informs you of defective lighting situations. I suggest you check the working order of your blinker lights on that side and replace the one that's "light has gone out" or so to speak.
