Notes from the clinic:

If music is a language, we teach it differently than we teach the spoken language. We should teach music the same way we teach English.

If music is a language, have something to say.

The instrument is not the point, it's the music, and the music is in us, not the instrument. Otherwise musicians wouldn't be needed.

Here's what I was able to get of it. There was nothing that said the session was copyrighted, so I'm proceeding on the assumption that you can all enjoy this guilt-free. I was using Audacity and typing at the same time, so that's the occasional clickety-clicking you hear.
