Stunt Driving
Well, that was some impressive riding by those Italian motorcycle cops. I mean, before anyone goes thinking that's not dangerous, consider that while those aren't really big bikes, they look like they probably weigh between 250 and 300 lbs. I've dropped a bike that heavy and you don't just pick it back up quickly. Now, check out what our own boys in blue can do, not with little Eurobikes, but with 900lb Harley-Davidson Road Kings and Dynaglides.

philosophy joke
In the 17th century René Descartes opted to prefer Reason to a divine source of knowledge. This has come to be known as putting Descartes before the Source.

jingles is potentially hazardous to your health and wellbeing.
Outside of the obvious side affects to filming jingles-like going crazy, permanently taking on one's character, or simply spending too much time with Jarrett, there is the ever-looming threat of being mowed over by a large truck.

It's that time again
Band camp started this week. So there are quotes happening.
#1. an exchange:
tuba: "Wow! That's like the future of chalk!"
Torie: "Yeah, I got it from my Grandma."
euph: "It's like, the past of chalk!"
AND THE ROOT:
"Don't play it like you're taking vitamins."
"It's like a Christmas tree - what presents do I open and which do I leave alone?"

One Six Left
Okay, I admit I'm a geek. I'm not just a band geek or a computer geek. No, I also like flying and this is some seriously sick flying footage!! You can't tell me that wouldn't be a lot of fun! I've done a bit of that stuff, but only in a humble Cessna 172. Oh, and who can forget the flying tips!
Chao!
Blog-casting direct to you from Salt Lake City!
Apologies for the video being so dark. Once Google processed it, it made it darker than when it was recorded.

Actually... why don't all the interested people email me their contact numbers so I can make an even betterer plan too.

A 100% Band Hall Quote
"It smells like Ninja Turtles in here."
-Ben Chadwick (3:31 pm in the band hall!)
RSVPing for Jingles on Monday
As I can't post on the IIIla page, I'll post it here.... I should be to the Browning Center tomorrow, around 10 AM, (well, actually, later today) with some props that might come in useful... namely a baby (should you choose to delve into Jingle's past to find out why he's now a pi-rat) and costumes consisting of Big black pirate pants (good with or without boots), knee high pirate boots (if anyone can fit into them). a white renaissance shirt, some wench-wear(includes two skirts, a corsette, a chemise & a vest, skirt thingy, both of which look really cool with the pants!), a couple ren-belts and belt-loops (black and brown) a sword/sheath/frog, a couple cheap rapiers, a black jedi cloak (technically a sith cloak, long enough for someone up to 6 foot 2), and a set or red jedi tabbards/belt and brown jedi tabbards & belt. Possibly my cheap brown jedi cloak, maybe a green ren shirt. Also, a nice piratey looking shirt and pants for the baby, just in case. I do have jackalope booties too... And a longbow without a string....
So there it is, hopefully with this advance warning you might be able to think of a way to utilize some of it, should you choose to do so. I'm happy to leave everything there (except of course, the baby) for use in later filming as well so long as it is all returned. :)

not mine - but an unfortunate discovery...
So it turns out that "presbyterians" is made of the same letters as "britney spears"
Apologies to the presbyterians
Methinks...
Well, Jon, you suggested the "watch for tanks" sign in tianamen (yes, a word I am probably incapable of spelling) square; I thought this, which I found on a blog linked to John Mackey's blog, was apt.
Protests
Mike: I oppose this war, and I have decided that I am going to eat a delicious, crispy Kit Kat for every day that it continues! Bring the troops home! *munch*Me: Each of these Skittles represents an Afghan orphan!
Mike: This 7 day protest-cruise may appear to be a wonderful tropical vacation, but each morning at the buffet I weep for those brave Americans suffering from PTSD. And the number is constantly growing. Ooh, shrimp! I mean...*sob*
Me: Spa Sit-In Continues: organizers demand a pedicure to symbolize each amputee.
Mike: Today we stand together against the murder of animals for vanity, as we buy up all of these gorgeous, luxurious furs on sale for 50% off!
Me: We refuse all Chinese food until the brave people of Tibet are afforded their God-given freedom. Until then, sushi!
Mike: I will remain locked here in this luxury penthouse suite with only room-service to sustain me until the unlawfully imprisoned members of the Falun Gong are released.
Me: These brave men pledge to smoke a Cuban cigar every day until the prisoners at Guantanamo are released!
